The first National Conference of the Society for Eczema Studies ( SESNatCon 2022) was held on the 17th and 18th of December at The Park Hotel, Kolkata. The organizing committee included stalwarts like Dr. Sandipan Dhar (President of the Congress), Dr. Koushik Lahiri (Organising Chairperson), Dr. Saumya Panda, and Brig Dr. Manas Chatterjee (Scientific Chairpersons). Pan-India renowned faculty members who participated and contributed to the phenomenal success of the conference included Dr. Vijay Bakaya, Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Dr. Iffat Hassan, Dr. Deepika Pandhi, Dr. Dipankar De, Dr. Abir Saraswat, Dr. Sheetal Poojary, Dr. Manjunath Shenoy, Dr. Rahul Mahajan, Dr. P. K. Srivastava, Dr. Sanjeev Handa, Dr. Kiran Godse, Dr. Ramkumar Ramamoorthy, Dr. Sudip Das,  Dr. Anuradha Bishnoi, Dr. Sudip Ghosh, Dr. Tanmay Padhi, Dr. Maitreyee Panda, Dr. Bhumesh Kumar, Dr. Tarun Mittal, Dr. Abhijit Saha, Dr. Samujjala Deb, Dr. Sahana Srihari, Dr. Liza Mahapatra, Dr. Sahana M. All the faculties shared their vast experience in the field of eczema, finely tuned and supported by the evidence in support of their statements. The grand finale of the SES Quiz was conducted by brain-tickling quizmasters Dr. Soumya Jagadeesan and Dr. Anupam Das, and it was one of the finest quizzes in recent times, courtesy of extraordinary performance of the participants and a never seen before the chemistry between the two quizmasters. For the first time, a practicing dermatologist was paired with a resident dermatologist to create a team, Dr. Hitaishi Mehta and Dr. Suvidha Kamath emerged as the deserving champions.

The stupendous success of the conference was attributed to the faculty members, delegates, residents, and pharmaceutical companies; and this speaks volumes about the passion, mission, and vision of Dr. Sandipan Dhar to showcase India in the global clock of atopic dermatitis and allergic dermatological disorders.
