The Society for Eczema Studies (SES), the illustrious mega project of Dr. Sandipan Dhar is now officially established. The Society is the 8th Society in the world to focus exclusively on the various aspects of eczema and its related phenomena. Our team comprises national and international dermatologists and our Society is based on democratic principles. The coming months will witness a series of enriching academic programs and the Society has already sown the first seeds with a successful virtual meeting on the 30th of March, 2022. With this we have begun our target of spreading our wings onto the academic skies with a series of meetings – physical, virtual and hybrid conference.

The Society has planned a once a year academic extravaganza in the form of a physical meet. The conference will be conducted to foster discussions pertaining to the most burning questions on different types of eczema globally. It will also focus on facilitating and promoting interactive sessions between renowned academicians and clinicians and the participants so that the most recent updates can be easily integrated into daytoday practice.

The Society is also going to organise various CME’s and webinars throughout the year in the form of various educational activities to help clinicians maintain, develop, and increase their knowledge, competence and professional performance in treatment and management of various types of eczemas. The purpose of our CME’s and CPD’s is to facilitate and encourage life-long learning among clinicians so that they can provide the best medical care to their patients as per latest guidelines.. The details will be put up on the website shortly regarding details and registration. Webinars In the current post pandemic era, access to information is at everyone’s fingertips. Our Society too firmly believes that scientific knowledge should be made available to everyone regardless of their geographical location. Keeping this spirit in mind, we have planned an exciting and interesting lineup of online Webinars on various topics ranging from recent updates, treatment challenges, newer therapies, management of difficult to treat cases on atopic dermatitis, occupational and contact dermatitis to name a few. These webinars will provide an opportunity for clinicians and physicians of all related specialties to interact with eminent national and international faculties to update themselves right from the comfort of their homes.
